Meal Plan Sept 20
Sep 22, 2026
September tends to be very busy, and this year especially so with clubs, wifey switching back to in person work, and closing out the farmers market season on Thursdays. I also want to celebrate the fall equinox and the transition from summer into fall. Monday will be my favorite summer meal and a chance to use the final harvest of tomatoes. Wednesday will be a meal that feels like fall leaves and haunted houses, with a meal of opposites in between to celebrate the bridge. We will also need easy to pack lunches with some variety, and Thursday will need a hands off meal to be ready after the market. This is a low-prep week, with a couple of more intensive cooking days. I like a balance between creative interesting meals and low effort ones
- Monday: Cowboy Panzanella with grilled sausage with Plum Torte
- Tuesday; Harvest salad, onion tarts, carrot soup, brownies and ice cream
